Dear all,
Thank you very much for your inputs. I think that including some of Chris’ wonderful pictures would be an excellent idea, I didn’t think of that. I’ll ask him if he is ok with it.
As for Scribus, that is also a great tool for me to use, I will definitely check it out.
Thank you once again,
Daniele

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=windows-1252; format=flowedHi Daniele,
Nice effort with the brochure.
IMO, what is lacking in the brochure
is "faces/people"and OSGeo/FOSS4G community
is about a bunch of wonderful “people”.
“Tools to Use”, “Platform to Build on”
and “Communities to Foster”.Perhaps some of the excellent pictures that
Chris posted on flikr could be put to good
use in the brochure. Also, maybe you could try some better looking
fonts. Take a look at Scribus, I think it is
better suited for making brochure’s than
OO-Impress.Regards
Venka

format=flowedWe don’t have a poster readily available, but I know one person who
has started on one. I will ask him about it.Please note, there is an overview brochure here:
https://svn.osgeo.org/osgeo/marketing/brochures/two-side-overview/Sounds like great event - good work on organising the presence there.

I arranged an OSGeo booth.
I have already downloaded the flyers of the projects and of OSGeo.
I will print and distribute them to participants.
It would be nice to have a also a poster to put on the back (where
to get it if exist?).I also have a presentatio on GFOSS and OSGeo software.
It would be really helpful if someone can provide me a general
presentation of OSGeo and their projects (overview). For the stats: currently we have more then 500 participants.
Waiting for your support
Maxi
