We are gradually setting up roles for the website, so as projects are added the incubation committee confirms they are open source, spatial, and participatory before the page is published.
Can I ask if the marketing committee would be willing to act in a similar fashion for service provider pages? Not sure what we would check, probably that the organization in question had a page on open source at listing the open source projects they support by name, preferably linking to the project website and/or OSGeo?
Note to be listed as a contributor to a project a service provider still has to work with the project steering committees. So if marketing committee is not interested we could also ask project steering committees to take on this role.
