[Marketing] Upcoming events in France

Hi dear marketing comitee,

There is 2 upcoming open source events in France until the end of the year.

  • Le Capitole du Libre (a regional FOSDEM-like) [1] - first time
  • The Paris Open Source Summit [2] - third time

The OSGeo French chapter will be attending a booth at those event.
Unfortunately, with the latest FOSS4G-fr, our OSGEO goodies stock is dry.

Can you help us refill with flyers, postcards, stickers and such ?
Thanks in advance.

Was anyone able to get back to you? The flyers, postcards, stickers and such are in GitHub for printing - and we do have budget (sometimes it is good to print locally to save on shipping).

Hello Nicolas,

great to hear about your upcomin events and hanks a lot for your mail.

Sure you can get some OSGeo material.

Sticker
-------
I can send stickers to you. Please tell me +- how many you will need. And maybe you should calculate some more for the next event.

Flyer
------
Also you should print some flyer. You find them here (maybe you can translate some to fr)

To hand out flyer at least for OSGeo, OSGeoLive, GSOC, Geo4All would be great.

And then we have all the flyer from the projects.

We could pay the for the costs with the budget from marketing committee.

Poster
-----------
some OSGeo material to print poster is here

Tablecloth or Roll-up
------------------------
If you think it makes sense to get a tablecloth and Roll-up to stay with you permanently let me know. We could order one and send to you directly.

Also have a look at the material detail to get an impression what we have

Events at osgeo.org
-----------------------
Please add an event page to osgeo.org (if you do not have the rights to do it yet please let me know)

Your address
---------------
Please send you address to me.

Hi all,

Thanks Jody and Astrid, thanks for getting back to me. Yes I was thinking about buy some OSGeo stickers as we will order new OSGeo-fr ones.
I was thinking more on finishing also old stuff like OSGeoLive postcards, OSGeo projects stickers, flyers.
I don’t think for already printed material, if sent from Europe, it will not be too much costly and we can avoid to throw it away in the future.

We also plan to order a new roll-up banner (you can find the design here [1]) and a table cloth with our local budget.
This mail was a first contact, to see what is possible so thanks for getting back to me.

Thanks for the ressources, we plan to do t-shirts too.

What FOSS can I use to open eps files ? And editing ?

Best,

Nicolas Roelandt
