Thanks for the excellent update Scott, and for everyone reviewing website content.

When updating the “communication” page to be about connecting with OSGeo - I was shocked to find that the “boards and officer” page had gotten worse. Indeed we depend on this page to provide the secretary@osgeo.org email address - as this is what is referenced when asking folks to sign a contributor license agreement.

Indeed the page had been stripped of all email addresses.

:warning: So I went on a bit of an caffeine fuelled update spree and ask folks to review the following :warning:

  1. Communications - OSGeo

    Now leads with discourse - which we changed in the meeting.

    I updated the section on chat to talk about matrix rather than … IRC.

    Added a section for email at the end linking to board and officers, and contact page.

  2. Contact - OSGeo - this has the info@osgeo.org address for general inquiry, and the anonymous feedback form. This page is unique in spelling out URLs in full.

    Updated to link to the forums on even terms with the mailing lists.

  3. Board and Officers - OSGeo has the basics: president@osgeo.org, treasurer@osgeo.org, and secretary@osgeo.org

    I really do not know what to do about the vice-presidents and project officers?

    • Perhaps a general statement: “If the profile page does not provide an email address please contact secretary@osgeo.org for assistance”.
    • Or as we could ask system admin committee to set up email alias for each project officer: geotools@osgeo.org could route to jody.garnett@gmail.com for example …
