Is there a documented procedure available to change the red square points into MIL-STD-2525 symbols?

Hi,

there is no documentation as GeoServer does not support out of the box MIL-STD-2525 symbology.

However, a java library is available to generate the symbols, so it should be possible, with some coding, to hook it up to GeoServer. That would be a nice addition.
