Dear all,
Four new proposals for the Datahub were created by my colleagues on the GeoNetwork-UI GitHub repository. Below are the links as well as a short description.
Please take the time to review those and express your opinion and support if you wish. The review period will last two weeks; on the 17.3 a decision will be made according to the feedback received.
Any feedback and discussion should happen on the proposal (issue on GitHub). Remember that there is also a Gitter channel (Matrix protocol) where the team can be reached.
1. Changes to the Datahub layout
This proposal re-adds a navigation menu on a record view and reworks a bit the sections, in order to improve readability of a record.
2. Improvements to the “card” layout of records in the Datahub
This proposal improves and homogenizes the card layout of records, which is becoming more and more important as we add new information on cards.
3. Add support for “service” records in the Datahub
This proposal adds support for service records in the Datahub: search and display services as well as their capabilities and linked datasets.
4. Add support for “reuse” records in the Datahub
This proposal adds support for reuse records in the Datahub: search and display of reuses (either maps or applications) as well as the datasets they rely on.
Please note that all those contributions are funded by IGN.
Again, if you have anything to say please say so in the coming two weeks!
Thank you for your involvement in the community,
