Hi all,
As discussed in today’s meeting, I have created a new repository on
GitHub, to store all of the source files for our branding materials
(logos, stickers, banners, one-page flyers, etc).
https://github.com/QGIS-ca/qgis-ca-branding/
Camilo: can you try to use one of the PNG files here, for the LinkedIn
logo:
https://github.com/QGIS-ca/qgis-ca-branding/tree/main/logos/version1/png
Let me know if a smaller/narrower one is still needed, I can create
one quick for you (my “Manager” status of the LinkedIn group does not
give me permissions to change the logo there).
All: if you want to create a new logo version, please fork that repo,
and maybe create a new folder named “version2” (or some meaningful name
for your logo) in the “logos” folder, then create a Pull Request.
Please always include your source .SVG, as well as some PNGs of
different sizes, for your new logo version. (for example, here is my
initial SVG:
https://github.com/QGIS-ca/qgis-ca-branding/blob/main/logos/version1/svg/qgis-ca.svg
And yes, only Open Source software (such as Inkscape, GIMP) can be used
to create our branding materials ![]()
thanks!
