This is a suggestion to avoid re-opening
#2056 (www.osgeo.org donate button) – OSGeo which recommended
https://givewp.com wordpress plugin.
No idea if this is still an appropriate suggestion or if something better
is available? I have seen websites collect a single donation with a slider
to choose percentage to provide to do different goals.
If such a plugin is available it would be very handy to:
- donate button per project page
- donate button for specific initiatives like travel grant
- or a donate button for specific travel grant events
Presently we ask treasurer for an html snippet which we cut and paste into
these pages. Example from FOSS4G Travel Grant Programme - OSGeo

aside: We had a temporary "quick action" generic PayPal donate button
while waiting for an answer on this topic.
