Hello,

I changed my mail some weeks ago (from "lbartoletti at tuxfamily dot org"
to "lituus at free dot fr") and since, I don't receive any mail from OSGeo
services :

- On wordpress: I changed to my new mail, but it's still pending, since I
don't have the mail to confirm the change

- On mailing list: I want to subscribe to several lists, but same, no
confirmation mails ; it works with another mail

Please, help me :slight_smile:

Hi Loïc,

I can help on the mailman side, but I can't find any user in the mailman
server with that email address. Are you sure that is the correct email
address? Feel free to contact me directly at jsanz [at] osgeo [dot] org to
share more details if necessary.

I think for wordpress it might send to the old address to confirm the old
wants to move to the new. I forget how that works.

Mantra I think is another we have hardcoded on osgeo6, so I'll change your
mantra address to see if you are getting mail on your new. At least that
should give you an idea if you aren't getting any osgeo mail.

Looks like you are not in mantra. I do see in weblate.osgeo.org it still
has your tux email address. Can you log into weblate to change that? I
guess that's another service that copies on registration and doesn't copy
again.

Checking on the mailman server logs I found many (+1k) lines like this one

Thanks I think that narrows it down a bit. So it does seem that free.fr
is rejecting our email.

I when to the page https://postmaster.free.fr to check if osgeo6 ip is
blacklisted, and it is

L'IP 140.211.15.3 est blacklistée pour une duré de 86373s (too many errors
(unexisting recipients, broken connections), testing)

so I guess the question is we must be sending to a bad free.fr email
address. I recall seeing this error before too perhaps with free.fr.
It's not necessarily Loic's email at fault here but possibly another
free.fr email address.

I guess we should check the logs next to see what other free.fr email
addresses we are sending too and what kind of messages we are getting
back.
