I am from FOSSGIS, the local chapter in Germany that organized FOSS4G
2016. If I see that correctly there are two copies of the website for that
event: 2016.foss4g.org hosted by OSGeo and foss4g2016.org hosted by us.
That doesn't make much sense.

We should probably change our copy into a redirect to the canonical name
2016.foss4g.org if that is okay with you and if there are no dependencies
on the OSGeo side to our website. Does that make sense?

Comment:

Yes that makes sense and probably safer since foss4g2016.org is a root
domain which will always require repurchase to keep alive.

Let us know if you need anything from us to make that happen.
