Hi,
My userid is patrickvmadden
I'm attempting to add Repository - Sonatype Nexus Repository as a
remote repository to our public artifactory server located at
https://repository.tomsawyer.com
I am working on a project that requires access to:
<!-- https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.geotools/gt-main -->
<dependency>
<groupId>org.geotools</groupId>
<artifactId>gt-main</artifactId>
<version>33.0</version>
</dependency>
Which is located at Repository - Sonatype Nexus Repository that I
believe is available from Repository - Sonatype Nexus Repository
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Patrick Madden

@patrickvmadden what problem are you running into with adding this.
Perhaps @jive can help with that.

Comment (by patrickvmadden):
I'm trying to follow the instructions as defined here:
SAC:Repo - OSGeo
Specifically related to "How to integrate with Artifactory as a remote
repository"
I work on a very important project that uses Artifactory as our main
repository and we would like to add osgeo's Nexus repository as a remote
repository to our artifactory.
I have a userid but it says to:
1. Create a TRAC ticket Making sure you're not a bot! requesting repo
access with the name of your project, and OSGeo UserID requiring access. A
project repository (maphappy-releases) will be setup, with access granted
to the OSGeo UserID requested.
So, that is what I've done. I still get 403 forbidden when trying to
download osgeo artifacts.
Thanks for any help.

Just to rule out some permissions issue, from the server you are trying to
add the repo, can you get to the directory browsing fine?

When I login to repo.osgeo.org with my username and password I cannot see
anything when directory browsing?
I see the following:
Browse feature is not available as you do not have the required
permissions
When I am not logged in I can directory browse...
Does that make sense?

Hmm that is strange. So you can browse if you are anonymous but not if
you are logged in?
Doesn't make sense to me.
I can browser regardless if I am logged in or not, but might be because my
permissions are higher.
@jive any thoughts on this. I'm at a loss what is going on here.
