[OSGeo-Discuss] Request for Information (RFI) Geospatial Line of Business

Great. Ned and I just talked, and he's got a few hours both today and tomorrow. We're going to move coordination of this work over to the VisComm list, so we're not spamming discuss with all the details. So subscribe to the dev VisComm email list: https://visibilitycommittee.osgeo.org/servlets/ProjectMailingListList

And work will continue on the same wiki page: http://wiki.osgeo.org/index.php/Response_to_RFI_for_US_Gov_GeoSpatial so just edit there directly. Do save work fairly often, so that conflicts can be more easily resolved if people are working at the same time.

best regards,

Chris

All,

I've been following thread as well and would be interested ibn helping out.

My experience is with municipal interfaces and high resolution (large) datasets.

Chris,

I'm back from vacation and plan to get into the RFI this afternoon. Would
you have time to talk sometime today or tomorrow?

I took a look at the various documents and read through the Open Standards,
open source, and open innovation documents (thanks for the heads-up).

Cool, I've started the page:

http://wiki.osgeo.org/index.php/Response_to_RFI_for_US_Gov_GeoSpatial

I'll try to put some time in the next couple of weeks, and perhaps Ned
and I can meet up May 1st or 2nd and have a bit of a sprint.

Anyone else feel free to jump aboard and help out.
