GIS Development. His has offered to be a "Media
Partner" for OSGeo in response to my enquiry.
Media Partnership will provide an opportunity
for publicizing OSGeo in event, managazines,
websites organized/managed by GIS Development
(http://www.gisdevelopment.net/).

I think such Media Partnerships are worth considering/pursuing.

FYI, several months ago we (VisCom) had decided to hold off on any going
to any press for articles on us until we had ourselves better arranged,
esp. including our sponsorship story.

Perhaps the time for this has now come?
