OSGeo UserID Mantra Request: Join OSGeo

Hi,

There's an email reset at https://id.osgeo.org/ldap/reset, otherwise you should probably contact SAC on IRC (#osgeo-sac on Libera.Chat) or Matrix (#sac:osgeo.org). I can confirm that your old account exists, but I can't check your email address.

Thank you !

It tells me I already had an account with my chosen username
(rdunklau), which I guess was probably associated to a former employer
email address.

Should I pick a different username or is there anyway to recover my old
account ?

Thank you !

Hi Ronan,

Please use "iwillnotspam" as the mantra. Welcome to OSGeo!

Registered email address is ronan.dunklau@dalibo.com, I've sent an
email there right now to see if it gets back or is handled by someone,
OSGeo sysadmin was notified by Cc.

Registered email address is ronan.dunklau@dalibo.com, I've sent an
email there right now to see if it gets back or is handled by someone,
OSGeo sysadmin was notified by Cc.

The email bounced back, confirming it's not good anymore:

5.1.1 <ronan.dunklau@dalibo.com>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown

Meanwhile Ronan kindly sent me a file GPG signed with the keys
found on key servers for both addresses, proving he's being in
control of both private sides of those keys, and A LOT of patience

All this checking wasn't also a way to improve the processes and we
actually did get a somewhat better ldap password reset script and a
somewhat better understanding of implications of using git submodules
for ansible.

Finally, Regina came to the rescue and updated the LDAP record of the
"rdunklau" OSGeo User so Ronan was able to use the self-service
password reset procedure.
