Hello everyone,
We are making a code freeze for the 2.3.0 develop branch. Only documentation changes are allowed.
Documentation freeze starts on Monday August 15 at Mexico afternoon.
Please, if you can review the documentation and submit changes before the date mentioned, We would be grateful.
On Monday August 15 at Mexico afternoon:
From develop a branch release/v2.3.0 will be created, where work on the release details of 2.3.0-alpha pre-release will be done; And develop immediately will become 2.4.0-dev.
Code and major documentation changes will go to the next minor 2.4.0 release
release/v2.3.0 will become 2.3.0-alpha tag.
immediately after tagging release/v2.3.0 will hold the 2.3.0-beta will be there for at least one week, for (minor) bug fixes, and minor documentation fixes (like spelling).
after the week, the 2.3.0-beta tag will be created, and the branch will hold 2.3.0-rc1
etc, until the 2.3.0 is released and merged into master.
