Recently more development discussion took place in Github issues than
on the dev mailing list.
This doesn't need to be bad in my opinion, but I think we could post
issues and issue comments automatically on the developers mailing
list, if you think this makes sense.
Would this be convenient?
Does this create too much noise on the mailing list?
If you have any objections, let me know.

I like the idea, I would expect that more developers can get involved in the discussions that take place in Github.
And if they see a topic of interests they can comment in the list or comment in the issue.

I made a setup to send notifications of Github issues to this list. I
hope it works as expected.
Let's watch and test this for a while to see, if this is useful or not.
Best regards,
Daniel
