Need a way (sql) for fixed distance network from a node / point on the network.
Explanation
- Have a roadnetwork (working) for a small city.
- Need to create (another result network) of a fixed distance Ex 3 km, from (a) points on the roadnetwork.
Usage scenario:
Ambulances may be parked at points that can reach any point in the city within ‘5 minutes’, the time taken for reaction and travelling -3km-.
Depending on the, ‘resulting roadnetwork’, ambulances will be advised to park is specific locations.
Similar logic works for Police Patrol cars, Fire-trucks and any emergency responce.
