Hi,

There is a mention about a perverse osm_id patch here:

Is this patch required? If so, not very clear about the affect of this patch?

I haven’t seen this yet. Thank you for the link!
If you want to have the original ID available later, this patch might be a good idea.
The compile problem mentioned in the blog and included to the patch should be solved in the meanwhile.
