[pgrouting-users] Re: mail for Stephen

Jordi,

I'm forwarding this to the pgrouting list. If you are not subscribed to the list you should. The list is the best place to get help for a couple of reasons.

1. there are multiple experts and if one is busy or does not know the answer then others can help

2. If you post questions and answers to the list then everyone can learn from them

Your attachments have be removed as I forward this to the list. But the first thing I would do is start and see if running JUST "cmake" without the optional parameters works. It is like that you do not have some prerequisite packages installed.

Dear Stephen,

I'm writing to you because I know that you are an expert in this
systems and I have many problems that have lasted long. I cannot
solve them and I don't know what to do.

I tried to install pgrouting on Ubuntu.

I have problems with the sentence of the manual:

page 7:

cmake -DWITH_TSP=ON -DWITH_DD=ON .

I'm sending you a printscreen of the error.

T dont't know what else try.

I'm not used to Ubuntu sytems, and this problem is driving me crazy.

I don't know how to solve it.

I checked the permissions and tried everything

The purpose of this installation is just creating and filling the
tables:

classes geography_columns geometry_columns nodes spatial_ref_sys
types vertices_tmp vertices_tmp_id_seq ways

for the file I'm sending you (of OpenStreetMap) of Barcelona
(Spain).

And the export them back to windows.

I know I could take long to solve the problem. I wonder If you,
please, do that for mi (I would be faster).

Thanks a lot

Hi Stephen,
Thanks for the answer !!!
Yes, I got a subscription, I entered my e-mail and the password.
I received a mail, but I'm not able to access where the questions are.
Could you send me a link please?
Kind regards
