Those who think finished all the tasks, you can start writing your application.
Send a link to you google document with suggest option to:

subject: github-id function name

  • include a link to your issue on the GSoC-pgRouting repo
  • attach: link to google doc allowing us to make suggestions.

example:

Note that:

  • It could happen that we don’t make suggestions
  • With so many people interested: I suggest an early start
  • At this stage we only check the proposal:
    • for completeness,
    • that there is no obvious AI involved.

If you use AI, make sure you understand what was done by AI, and mention in your proposal what you used AI for. And don’t use it to do your whole proposal only use it as a helping tool.

Hello,

I just finished the application intent tasks and I’m starting on my proposal currently.

Since there are so many algorithms in the Boost Graph Library, are there any specific ones that are high priority for pgRouting right now? I’m open to tackling any graph algorithm, I just want to make sure I focus my proposal on something the community actually needs.

Hello pgRouting community,

I have submitted a GSoC 2026 proposal titled “Emergency Accessibility & Dynamic Cost Routing Enhancements in pgRouting”. The proposal focuses on one-to-many emergency accessibility routing and structured dynamic cost modeling within pgRouting. I would really appreciate any feedback on the scope, feasibility, or alignment with current pgRouting priorities. Thank you for your time

We are getting many requests to for us to do some pre-reviews on the proposals.
Sorry, but we can no longer make those reviews.
You will have to submit the proposals to the google summer of code site, just as you made them.
