I’d like to propose developing a GeoServer community module that integrates the OpenAI API with WPS to enable natural language queries over WFS.
The idea is to allow users to input plain language questions, which the system would convert into ECQL filters using metadata from the GeoServer catalog and layer information as context for the OpenAI prompt. The goal is to improve accessibility and support more intuitive querying over spatial data layers.
