Just a note that the topic refers to 2.26, which should actually be 2.27

Thanks, fixed topic title. The proposal is $1800 is to cover 2.27 and then 2.28 if needed.

However I expect OGC policies are annual, and our release cycle is twice a year, so some negotiation may be required.

Hi Jody,
I don’t understand why 1800 for 2.27?
Even certifying only the standards we have to pay for, it would be 900?

-1 until clarifications are made

I assume we pay 900 now for 2.26, and worst case we may need to pay 900 again in the fall for 2.28

2.26 does not pass the CITE tests, you probably mean 2.27.x?
Anyways, to be discussed, the yearly budget looks eccessive to me.

Regards,

Andrea Aime

Yes 2.26 was a typo, the discourse topic has been corrected to indicate 2.27 (and potentially 2.28).

I am going to take discussion back to the other topic.

This proposal is withdrawn as it did not reach the amount of support required to proceed.

I think the PSC meeting discussion was positive, and we can get some questions answered and schedule certification alongside the 2.27.1 release.
