I am about to create a new branch of our QGIS.ca website Github repository main branch to make some updates (announce next meeting date).
Before I make these changes, I would like to ask the group about what would be the best practice.
Would the following sequence make sense for you?
- Clone repository
- Create new branch
- Make changes
- Stage and Push
- Create Pull request
Any suggestions?
Sorry I am just seeing this now. I had already updated the repository and website yesterday, announcing the meeting. We can chat about this in today’s meeting.
Your workflow sounds perfect to me. Once you file a pull request, I can merge it and push it to qgis.ca

Also, lesson-learned here, to receive ALL notifications and emails of every new post here in this “QGIS-CA” category on Discourse, I didn’t click the top-right “bell” icon, to change that to “Watching”…so that is why I missed this initial post. Solved now! ha. -jeff
