[Qgis-us-user] importing ArcGIS layer (lyr) or project files (mxd)

Hello,

Is there a proceedure to import either ArcGIS complete project files (mxd) or be able to import the relative layer (lyr) files for their respective shapefile; hence not losing their symbology or legend?

Thanks!

Francine

Hi, Francine.

Nyall Dawson, one of the main QGIS developers, has been working on a
project called SLYR which does exactly that. Details here:
