[Qgis-us-user] Python not installed

Hi all!
I posted to the old qgis list but this is my first post. (hoping for the best!)

Python is not being installed automatically as it had been with many
prior versions
of QGIS. All sorts of stuff will not work without it. I have read all
the refs I could find but
maybe I need more suggestions.
Do I need to uninstall all the previous versions?
I am just installing the long term release, single user.
The current available LTR version of QGIS is 3.34.8.
Device name DESKTOP-8A6RGKU
Processor AMD Ryzen 3 4300G with Radeon Graphics 3.80 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.38 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display
Edition Windows 10 Home
Version 22H2
Installed on ‎2/‎21/‎2022
OS build 19045.4529
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19058.1000.0
Not sure if more infor is required. I have used various GIS over the years.
Thankful for QGIS.
thanks to all of you

Are you using the standalone installer for Windows?

If you go to Plugins -> Manage and Install Plugins -> Is Processing is checked?

Possibly it's getting installed and that one bit isn't checked.
