Your .sld is wrong:
<FeatureTypeName>feature</FeatureTypeName>
should probably be capital-F Feature:
<FeatureTypeName>Feature</FeatureTypeName>
You're the 2nd person with this problem, I'll see what I can do about
giving an error.
