If the Drupal login is linked to LDAP, then this must use SSL or risk exposing administrator passwords.

SVN access will also require SSL.

For much content, we simply removed references to https urls. Shouldn’t the MapGuide links just be updated by removing the https prefix from the links.

The new site(s) doesn’t specifically require SSL at this point - is it something that should be considered for certain tasks?

The “Download” link in the first news item links to a HTTPS:\ page where you get certificate errors in the new Internet Explorer. The new IE won’t even show the page unless you click something that is not recommended.
