RE: [VisCom] Developer Roundtable

Cool -- this seems to match what I just posted to the Wiki, except that
I didn't make clear that the 'active discussion' part would be driven by
the press's questions (unless they had none, in which case the moderator
can throw some red meat in).

I've also tweaked the overall topic/theme, based on your suggestions
below.

Michael,

We're trying to take care of the logistics here so you can focus on
participants and content. I'll send you contact at O'Reilly
after we've
given them heads up on your role and session.

Logistics:
- Room location is TBD - will let you know as soon as we know
- Lunch - we may cater lunch for 20 or so to feed the
participants and
attract the press.
- Autodesk will invite relevant press

Content Suggestions:
Line up 3-4 developer participants
Choose some compelling and maybe slightly controversial topics:
- How much do standards matter?
- How things have changed in last 6 months
- Is 'big company' involvement good/bad?

20-30 minute moderated discussion
15-20 minutes of Q & A and discussion with press

Peter

Dave - thanks!

Peter: do you have any info for me to get this underway, e.g. contact
person at O'Reilly, or..?
