The same exists for 2010 (http://2010.foss4g.org/); my guess is that SAC is holding these back because of an older version of PHP? I vaguely remember something related to PHP on this mailing list.

Subject: FOSS4G2008 site down
Hi, how can I get this message through to SAC?

Hi all
I'm not sure how long this has been the case but no urls for FOSS4G2008
conference website are returning anything.
Hmm, actually those should all be static archives now. I'll check in
with Eli, we probably just have the symlink or path to the archived
version wrong with Apache.
FYI, all Foss4g sites older than I think 2013 were converted to static
with wget mirror.
Thanks,
Alex

Indeed the paths moved, 2011 and 2010 fixed, 2008 is pointing to what I
think is the correct directory, but that archive isn't quite right. I'll
let Eli speak up when he gets a chance.
Thanks,
Alex
