My personal experience is that they like to have a trac issue reported - and then follow up on IRC, or attend one of the SAC meetings.

1. Updating the lab member form
We have discussed ideas in the Advisory Board for new labs . We wish to add a field for nomination by an existing lab or OSGeo Charter member. This is to add more peer review to the process to maintain quality control as well as inclusiveness. For example, a new lab in Malaysia or Brazil , colleagues in labs who know them (esp. locally ) will be able to nominate them, so we know that they must be good contributors to OSGeo in the future. They will need to fill the simple form (in fact we need only the fields in the current wiki table ). we need to simplify the form at https://goo.gl/forms/Yx0Vdpz6HvqJGvE02
This will also reduce the workload on our regional chairs and they can concentrate more on the strategic issues. All labs should also confirm that they adhere to our principles at http://www.geoforall.org/how_to_join/

2. GeoForAll Domain
As you all know Jason has kindly developed our GeoForAll website and arranged the domain name for us till now. I am very grateful to Jason and all colleagues at University of Southampton for their help and support of our website from the start.
I have emailed Jason (cced Jody ) that from next year, we will arrange the domain name renewal to be taken up by the OSGeo web team so we can ensure longterm continuity . I am happy to pay for the geoforall domain renewal costs and I want the domain name donated to the OSGeo Foundation. That will ensure OSGeo will always have full ownership of the geoforall domain name. I request Jody and OSGeo web team to let me know the best way to arrange this. It needs to have along term plan and someone in OSGeo webteam to get things like domain renewal done.
Jody/Jeffrey - Could you please provide us with advise how to follow up on this ? Can you please ensure that when the new OSGeo website is ready, the GeoForAll page is redirected correctly .
Jason - could you please let us know when is the renewal date next ? Thanks.
3. Advisory Board list update
All our Regional Chairs are part of the Advisory Board. So we will need to update the AB list in the website. I can send you the updated version
