[SAC] Mailing lists and Search

Folks,

Do we have a preferred "search" solution for our mailing lists?

Are we going to depend on indexing by google and other search engines?

Are we going to try to get our mailing lists into nabble?

Our own hosted search utility?

Best regards,

There are some pointers on various search options in the MailMan FAQ

This is kind of a "given", I think.

I kind of like nabble but did have an incident where spam was leaking from nabble back into a list I was hosting. I think they fixed that.

My mantra (not always followed by my stubborn alter ego) is to not implement what is available from elsewhere, particularly if it's free. Each additional thing might be a small increment in maintenance, but the little things add up.
