Hi,
we (Omniscale) announced this tuesday at the german FOSSGIS that we will open source our WMS proxy software. The project will be hosted at http://mapproxy.org/. We plan to officially announce this in the next weeks but we need to clean-up and upload our documentation before that.
What we still need is hosting for the project mailing list. I got the information that the OSGeo supports new and smaller projects with services like mailing lists.
So I would like to ask for a mailing list for mapproxy, if no one objects.

I know the two guys behind the project personally and support this
request. Please consider this as a motion for requesting a mailing list in
the Labs-Mode, meaning that if no one objects within the next few days we
can go ahead.
