Hello admins,
today I got a spam email that made it to osgeo-women list, and is now
stored in the list archives.
I have added the addresses to the spam filter of the list, but I would
request to remove them from the archive.
Sorry for not raising the problem earlier - actually there is quite a bit
of spam in archive of past year.

Hi Anne,
since you are the list admin you may want to review who can post to the
list.
Deleting posts from the mailman archive is a PITA...

Hi Markus,
right: I set the subscription rule to require approval from admins before
being able to post to the list (previous setting was confirm only).
The spammers are not listed among current members, so I assume they
removed themselves after sending the mails.
I'd be glad if the past archive can be cleaned up. Alternatively I can
raise the topic of closing the list altogether (after more than one year
of no posts, it could make sense, but it's out of scope of this ticket).
Thoughts?
