I would like to ask SAC for creating new e-mail aliases for new OSGeo
Board members:

jody.garnett at gmail.com -> jody.garnett at osgeo.org
anitagraser at gmx.at -> anita.graser at osgeo.org

Take in account with aliases that for gmail (MariaB told me some weeks
ago) it's no longer possible to use an alias to send e-mails. On the other
hand this is surprisingly working for those (like me) that configured that
previously, who know for how long.
So, you need to send e-mails with a different SMTP server than the one
provided by GMail. Please communicate this to the these new aliases owners
so they know what to expect from this e-mail provider.
Yeah, another reason to have a full e-mail server at our infrastructure or
somewhere else.

Thats really important information if generic Gmail no longer allows
send alias configuration. It would be good if someone can verify that
information for our research into options.

getting an error sending to one of the board aliases:
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
jody.garnett@osgeo.org
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server
for the recipient domain osgeo.org by mail.osgeo.org. [140.211.15.3].
The error that the other server returned was:
550 5.1.1 <jody.garnett@osgeo.org>: Recipient address rejected: User
unknown in local recipient table
