Hello,

I am not sure what happened, but the site is down and I think it's a CNAME
issue.

Can someone please have a look at this ASAP

Thank you for your help,

Also found this message in my repo settings:

Your site's DNS settings are using a custom subdomain, 2017.foss4g.org,
that's set up as an A record. We recommend you change this to a CNAME
record pointing at [YOUR USERNAME].github.io. For more information, see
https://help.github.com/articles/setting-up-a-custom-domain-with-github-
pages/.

I notice in this ticket,
https://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo/ticket/1628#comment:8 it says that it is
pointing at 199.27.79.133 for avidgeo.github.io

When I go to http://avidgeo.github.io/ it is a link to the meetup page.

The IP of http://avidgeo.github.io/ appears to currently be 151.101.52.133

I can't help on this but these are some observations.

Yeah,

I was also looking into it and it seems that the A record was a patch we agreed on, but the CNAME record is what they really want.
