I'm afraid it's just a matter of volunteers availability.
I've setup a proxy, as it was done for 2015. Not sure this is appropriate
(a proxy, rather than a redirect) - anyway you should now have something
working.

I've also noticed that europe.foss4g.org redirects to
europe.foss4g.org/2015, is that still good ?
