I've been informed that some folks are having trouble signing up for
FOSS4G Boston Code Sprint because they don't have accounts.
To expedite things, can I be given permission to approve wiki account
signups?

I made you a Burocrat, take a look at the "Recent Changes" page, you
should get a NOTICE on the top of the page when there are pending
requests, with a link to the management page for those:
https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Special:ConfirmAccounts
NOTE: many spammers try to cheat there, make sure emails are confirmed and
references are given.
There's also an alias receiving a notification when new people request
access, do you want to be added there too ? If so let me know (in private
if you want) which email address to use for that
