At time the list returned by a Web site search is first the news, then
eventually the project(s).

Please first return the project(s), then the news items since most people
stop scrolling after a while (and we have a decade worth of news!).

IMHO yes: https://www.osgeo.org/search/ --> "Search OSGeo" which is
generic, covering all.
