I wanted to debug the OSGeo planet because there's a blog not showing up
on the website and I'm trying to log in to `old-webextra` but my
credentials are not working.

I've tried logging directly with the `.ssh/config` setting to use
`hop.osgeo7.osgeo.org`, which has been working without issues. I also
tried logging first to `hop` and then `ssh old-webextra` but my
credentials are always denied.

Any ideas about what could I be doing wrong?

jsanz,

Do you get a prompt for password or you can't connect at all. I'm getting
a prompt and recall I had my pub key in there before. Anyway I'm still
looking at configuration. i'm guessing it's having an issue connecting
with ldap.

Speaking of which we should move planet off that server. I'm going to
reset it up on osgeo3 server in geo-docs hopefully this weekend.

@jsanz,

Can you give it a try now. I had to change the /etc/ldap/ldap.conf to
TLS_REQCERT never cause it doesn't understand letsencrypt certs. Once I
did that, I was able to connect with

{{{
ssh robe@osgeo7-old-webextra
}}}

I'm going to close. Feel free to reopen if you still have issues.

@jsanz yah I have it all set up ready for you to test. See #2774

http://staging.planet.osgeo.org

Though I think something might still be wrong as I'm still geting random
welcome to nginx on my browser. So rechecking the configs.
