Hi,

I would like to creare a new project in Git under FOSS4G umbrella. I would
like to create https://git.osgeo.org/gitea/org/foss4g/resources but I'm
not able.

If I try to create a new project it will be created under my user.

Comment:

I guess you must be owner in order to create a repository there.
Better ask Jeff McKenna

I seem to be able to create repositories under the "foss4g" organization,

Okay that's odd, but Jeff didn't you create the other repositories?

I did a test giving my test robe2 account owner rights to foss4g org.

I confirm like Jeff that I too get a forbidden. My sysadmin robe, like
strk I have no issue creating a repository. I'm investigating what could
be the issue here.

@Jeff Mckenna

That was weird. Jeff can you try again.

I was able to have my robe2 test account be able to not get Forbidden by
doing, one of two things. Not sure which one did it

1) On settings checking the box "Repository admin can add and remove
access for teams", that wasn't checked for some reason, but assume it
should be

2) Editing Owners group and just resaving without changing anything

I forget to check before doing each step if I could add. Anyrate I think
it might have been an upgrade issue and resaving the settings forced a
population of new bits that weren't set.

I removed my robe2 account from owners role and now get a Forbidden as
expected.

Thanks @robe I'm now (again) able to create repositories.

@lucadelu I'm created the 'resources' repo and given you privileges.
