What were you updating on actinia page? I just clicked update on actinia
page and received no error. Also editing postgis page and got no error.
I thought there was a log within wordpress that showed errors, but can't
find it.

I was able to update the github links that had mundialis to actinia-org
with no error. So perhaps some sort of permission issue or browser cache
issue.
Can you clear out your browser cache and then try updating again.

I eventually nailed it down:
Adding a new member under "Select members that are involved in this
project." it leads to above error.

Still can't replicate. I added myself to the project and that completed
fine, and then removed myself. Also fine. I did the same with PostGIS.
Maybe specific to the person you were adding?

As discussed with neteler offlist, he is still having an issue adding a
specific user.
The error I am seeing in the log email is -
