gvSIG has a public [ftp://downloads.gvsig.org/pub/
ftp]/[http://downloads.gvsig.org/pub/ http] download area. It's used by
gvSIG team to distribute binary builds, sources snapshots, liveDVDs and so
on.
IMHO, having all that stuff mirrored on download.osgeo.org is not
convenient* and I ask to simply have a link on the server
[http://download.osgeo.org/ index].
* I've read at [http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Download_Server wiki] that
there is not so much space at osgeo server and we're using more and more
space on every [http://downloads.gvsig.org/pub/gvSIG-desktop/devel/ build]
(wild growth as our admin says as every build is 360MB...).

Comment:
As requested, I have added a new section on the download.osgeo.org index
page for OSGeo downloads from other sources, and added gvSIG and a bunch
of other projects there.
There is currently 60GB of space on download.osgeo.org but I must confess
we wouldn't be too pleased with 15GB for one project (if only because
this would make backups painful).
