Dear SAC team,

we would like to add multi language support (Joomfish) to the QGIS joomla
website and found the currently installed PHP 5.0.4 version has some bugs
that make joomfish fail. Is there any chance to update PHP to a newer
version on the xblade14-2 server?

kind regards,
   Otto

Comment (by warmerdam):

Otto,

I'm somewhat concerned that it might break something else running on the
same server if you upgrade PHP. Is it practical for you to use a distinct
version living in your own tree?

Comment:

we were lucky and only had to exceed memory_limit in /etc/php.ini. It is
now set to 24M and works fine with joomfish.

thanks
