OSGeo wiki is down.

Accessing http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/ responds with:

OSGeo Wiki has a problem

Sorry! This site is experiencing technical difficulties.

Try waiting a few minutes and reloading.

(Can't contact the database server: Too many connections (localhost))

<CameronShorter> Does anyone know the status of the OSGeo wiki, and when
it will be back. I rely on this wiki very heavily for LiveDVD development
and numerous FOSS4G activities. In particular, I have a press release
planned to go out tomorrow which should be referencing this wiki.

Comment (by crschmidt):

The drive on osgeo2 filled up. I Found some old unneccesary mysql binlogs
and removed them. I don't know hwy the disk filled up. The wiki is now up.

Comment (by martin):

Thanks, Chris.

To my understanding the MySQL DB is not the sole culprit. Instead, several
Telascience blades are being backed up onto 'osgeo2'. Thus, if the disks
in the blades are filling up, the ones in 'osgeo2' will do as well.
Nevertheless it might be a clever idea in the long run to migrate the Wiki
over to a different DB backend ....

Martin.

Comment (by camerons):

I'm not sure if this information is relevant, but I've been creating large
(2 GIG) iso images on download.osgeo.org:/osgeo/download/livedvd. If these
images are being backed up on another server, then this may be causing
disk space overloads.
