Received email from PEER 1 requesting a reboot - I assume of both osgeo
servers.

------

Dear Valued PEER 1 Customer:

A security update was recently released for your Linux server that
requires a
reboot to take effect. Please schedule and perform a reboot at your
earliest
convenience to protect the security and reliability of your dedicated
server.

We recommend the following:

1. Ensure the updates have already been applied by typing 'up2date -u' at
the
root prompt.

2. After the updates have been installed, type 'shutdown -r now' to reboot
your
system. The 'up2date -u' command may report "No Packages marked for
Update".
This does not indicate whether or not your system requires a reboot and we
still recommend using 'shutdown -r now' to complete installation.

The security and reliability of your dedicated server is important to us.
If
you need assistance or if your machine does not respond under 5 minutes,
please
call us at 1-877-504-0091 or open a reboot request online at
https://mypeer1.com.

Thank you for your continued business and support.

Sincerely,

Support Team
PEER 1

Is any member of the crowd running this command on a regular basis on
the two primary servers ?

Cheers,

Not that I know of. Updates are scary  We should probably do them and be ready to live with the consequences though. Are there two primary admins that can schedule some downtime together to take this task on?
