As the call for hosting of FOSS4G2011 will be announced soon, I think
OSGeo should reserve the foss4g2011.org domain now.

Any chance we can just start using foss4g.org - and have links to the
"current" (2010.foss4g.org) but also past and future events? I think it
would make this all much simpler yet flexible. Naturally getting a good
launch page up for foss4g.org would be important

I had mentioned a proper foss4g.org page recently on IRC. Do we have a
designer and/or funding to move forward with a foss4g.org remake? If the
answer is no then we'll have to move forward with the foss4g2011.org
domain.

I have created a static landing page for foss4g.org/www.foss4g.org. This
involved some changes in /etc/httpd/conf.d/hosts/conference.conf.
The files are in svn at http://svn.osgeo.org/osgeo/foss4g/foss4g.org
They live on osgeo1 at /var/www/foss4g/foss4g.org
The /root/scripts/web_svn_update.sh script refreshes the site daily.
I leave the rest to others.
