#665: FOSS4G 2008 DNS confusion

http://2008.foss4g.org and http://foss4g2008.org don't seem to be working.
They were forwarding to:
http://conference.osgeo.org/index.php/foss4g/2008 which works fine.
But for some reason I just couldn't find any settings in httpd conf files
that were being used.
I'm pulling down a static copy of from the above url and would like to
link to it from the 2008 urls, but need some help deciphering the two
domains as per DNS settings and to make sure the
/etc/httpd/conf.d/hosts/conference.conf is set up good.
Going a bit loopy looking at it

It looks like I've got it half working maybe.
http://2008.foss4g.org/ - is at least going to my cached version now.
Anyone have a good way of pulling a static copy - I was using wget with a
bunch of options but looks like I got it wrong.
foss4g2008.org - still dead
If you can get it pointing back to the conference.osgeo.org site, that be
good too now that I see my static dump failed.
