Hi Eli,

The Nabble lists are being transitioned to the OSGeo systems committee.
They have a Trac instance set up for managing this kind of request at
track.osgeo.org/osgeo (I think)

Jason

Jason,

      Did you aggregate the OSGeo lists on nabble? If so, great job, I
like how OSGeo.org is routinely in the 'what's cool' section on the nabble
home page. No shame in being beat by R and Postgresql.

      On the overview here, http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/ the
Geomoose-users list does not show up. True, the list has only existed for
a few hours. I was going to wait to see if nabble would query,
http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo and update itself, but I noticed
that pdal and other relatively new lists are not there either. Can you
add the Geomoose-users list? Do you want me to edit this page,
http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/SAC:Mailing_Lists , to also add you to cc for
updating the OSGeo nabble view?

Thanks, Eli

Comment(by mloskot):

FYI, Jason is no longer maintaining the Nabble archives.
I have initiated the process of taking over the Nabble archives from
Jason. Check the thread
[http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/sac/2011-September/003367.html OSGeo
archives at Nabble (Fwd: Re: Taking ownership)] and other Nabble-titled
threads in Sept and Oct.

Now, SAC needs to decide who to make the owner (either an individual or
some sort of virtual account e.g. nabble@osgeo.org with a couple of folks
attached to it, so the ownership is maintained in future).

Comment(by EliL):

I see that this is very similar to (#813). My point is to change the list
creation process such that all (or appropriate) new lists go into the
nabble view. (Central and Eastern European conference list, Dutch,
Philippines, GeoMoose, etc). I got Mateusz's comment and read the thread.
Sounds like this is coming along. Thanks.
