Dear Arnulf:

OSGeo China just rebuild the FOSS4G 2012 website. Address of the website
is:
http://foss4g2012.mymova.com/
Could you help us redirect the address http://2012.foss4g.org to the
IP address: 98.126.149.122
We will binding the 2012.foss4g.org domain name to the new website.
The new website will provide detailed information of the conference
and we will update the content more frequent.

Comment:

I have modified the "A" record for 2012.foss4g.org to point to
98.126.149.122 at pairnic. The TTL is set to '1 hour or less' so it will
hopefully propogate fairly quickly.

Let me know if there are problems.

Ah, I see it is in place now, but unfortunately the target server was not
modified to answer as 2012.foss4g.org in advance. Hopefully the
interruption will be of a modest length as it makes the conference look
bad.
