This should get rolled into our discussions of where to go next. If we
decide to split things into smaller more isolated VMs, new hardware that
fits that model seems a better deal.

But I do
We all know how long it takes to get things migrated properly and if
the second PSU dies within a few weeks, then we're without Mail and
Projects VM. Therefore I'm strongly in favour of getting a
replacement.
Cheers,
Martin.

+1 if that matters,
Markus
same, +1

Sounds like no objections and lots of +1. At $100 seems worth it.
Quick count for this year:
$65.00 1x hard drives
$154.77 2x hard drives (1 spare sitting at OSU)
$151.50 2x raid batteries (rushed shipping)
~$102 psu
Total $473.47 for the year.

Ok, the hardware starts showing its age, but given that the machines
have been running several years with absolutely no HW replacements at
all (as far as I know), I think that's within reasonable limits.
Cheers,
Martin.
